KNIN: PARL. COMMITTEE ON PROBLEMS OF CROATS MOVING OUT OF BH KNIN, April 8 (Hina) - The Sabor Committee for Immigration meeting in Knin on Monday discussed the problems faced by Croats moving out of Bosnia-Herzegovina and it was
concluded to request that the Croatian Government to discuss the problem of Croats from B-H emigrating abroad at its next session.
KNIN, April 8 (Hina) - The Sabor Committee for Immigration meeting
in Knin on Monday discussed the problems faced by Croats moving out
of Bosnia-Herzegovina and it was concluded to request that the
Croatian Government to discuss the problem of Croats from B-H
emigrating abroad at its next session.#L#
It was also concluded to demand that the Sabor urgently forward a
bill for a second reading on the Law on Areas of Special Government
Concern and that the Government use its influence on the
international community and Bosnian government to prevent the
eviction of Croats in B-H until they are secured alternative
shelter.
Monday's meeting was attended by representatives of all
associations of Croats from B-H currently active in Croatia, the
head of the Caritas office in Knin, Fr. Petar Klaric however
representatives of County authorities from Central Bosnia did not
attend, even though they were invited.
The Sabor committee forwarded a protest because of the non-
attendance of the Foreign Minister and Minister of Public Works or
at least their assistants who were expected to attend.
