on them prison sentences ranging between two and six years.

pronounced six Serbs from the eastern region of Baranja guilty of
war crimes against civilians and in a non-final verdict imposed on
them prison sentences ranging between two and six years. #L#
The convicts were proven to have organised and carried out the
unlawful arrest and imprisonment of Croats and other non-Serbs in
the then occupied Baranja between 1991 and 1995. They were also
found guilty of physically abusing and humiliating non-Serbs,
confiscating their property and forcing them to leave Baranja.
The six convicts have the right to appeal against the sentence to
the Supreme Court within 15 days from receipt of the ruling.
