The Rijeka Information Centre on April 2 received an anonymous
telephone call to that effect, Miskulin told reporters, adding it
was established the call was made from a public phone.
Attacks on judiciary employees are increasing, Miskulin said,
adding that in a law-based state like Croatia they were
impermissible. The situation is becoming alarming but these
attacks will not influence the performance of the Rijeka court or
other Croatian courts, he said.
Threats are a punishable act, Miskulin said, calling on the
Interior Ministry and the State Attorney's Office to do everything
to track the perpetrators.
Judge Saric declined to comment on the threat.
