LINIC: TAKING TO THE STREETS WON'T BRING RESULTS

KOPRIVNICA, April 3 (Hina) - Deputy Prime Minister Slavko Linic said in Koprivnica on Wednesday that strikes and walk outs into the street and ultimatums would not bring any results. Since it seems that there will be a lot of problems with changes to the Labour Act, the Employers' Association should mediate between the unions and the government "because dialogue is the only solution", he said.

Speaking about current economic circumstances in the country, Linic claimed that the International Monetary Fund confirmed the stability of Croatia's banking system. Croatia has become a low-risk country and is no longer a country of speculative capital but of profitable investment, Linic claimed. (hina) sp rml
