ZAGREB, April 2 (Hina) - The call to workers' protests over changes to the Labour Act does not constitute a call to a revolution or political changes, at least not for now, the president of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions
of Croatia (SSSH), Davor Juric, said on Tuesday. He added that dialogue and partnership between the government and the unions existed only on paper.

The reason the SSSH left the social pact with the government was not
due only to changes to the Labour Act, but due to changes to a series
of laws influencing the position of workers, pensioners, and other
social groups, Juric told reporters.
Last week, when the SSSH left the Partnership for Development
social pact, Juric called on other unions to protest against
changes to the Labour Act.
The SSSH has offered a joint action, but if the other unions refuse
this initiative, the SSSH will act alone, Juric said.
