SARAJEVO, March 24 (Hina) - A day ahead of the final round of negotiations which should lead to constitutional changes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch on Sunday called on political leaders to
understand the meaning of this task and assume responsibility for the fate of Bosnia by finding a solution on their own. The statement issued by Petritsch's office in Sarajevo says that the talks on constitutional amendments are the most important event in Bosnia since the Dayton Agreement. As a multiethnic democracy, Bosnia can function only on the principle of consensus among democratically elected leaders, the High Representative said.
