One of HDZ's negotiators, Niko Lozancic, accused Petritsch at
today's news conference of advocating Serb ideas of maintaining
Republika Srpska at any cost, with minimum of corrections.
Lozancic said Petritsch wanted to "preserve Radovan Karadzic and
Ratko Mladic's project", alluding to Republika Srpska.
This week's negotiations with Petritsch ended on Friday morning,
and will continue on Monday.
During more than 100 hours of meetings, he said, the two sides had
not harmonised a single issue. He added that the talks were being
conducted in such a way as to "drive the negotiators crazy".
HDZ president Ante Jelavic, who is not taking part in the
negotiations, told reporters that the talks were going in an
"unacceptable direction".
The constitutional changes as advocated by Petritsch "could be
misused to divide Bosnia into two parts -- Republika Srpska as a
majority Serb entity, and the Bosnian federation as a majority
Bosniak entity," Jelavic said.
