asked the Croatian government and Bosnian authorities to help solve
the problems of Bosnian Croats whose refugee agony continued with
recent evictions from Drvar. #L#
"The international community, Croatia, or Bosnia-Herzegovina have
done nothing to make it possible for these people to return to their
homes in Central Bosnia and areas of the now Serb entity, as well as
into North-western Bosnia in Bosanska Posavina," the Alliance said
in a statement.
The Alliance called on all those responsible to advocate the
cessation of the agony of Bosnian Croats, and on associations and
human rights associations to offer their financial and moral
support.
Croats evicted from Drvar have been arriving in Knin in the past
several days. With the help of the Church, Caritas and Red Cross,
they have been accommodated in the bungalows of former military
facilities near Knin. According to the refugees, the evictions will
continue. It is estimated that by this summer, not more than 100
Croats will remain in Drvar.
