SARAJEVO, March 18 (Hina) - Representatives of eight most influential parties ion Bosnia began a new round of negotiations on the country's constitutional changes which must be carried out to so all three peoples are constitutive on the entire Bosnian territory. #L# The meeting should last two days and result in a final agreement by interested sides, avoiding the High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, himself imposing appropriate solutions. Ahead of the negotiations in Sarajevo, Petritsch spoke with the honorary president of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Alija Izetbetovic and Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) officials, separately. An agreement must be reached within the next few days. This is the final round of talks, Petritsch's spokeswoman Alexandra Stiglemayer said, as cited by Sarajevo's daily Dnevni avaz. Republika Srpska Premier Mladen Ivanic told the media in Banja Luka that in case the parties do not reach an agreement, his government would forward draft amendments to the entity's constitution into parliament. He thus, directly threatened that if an agreement is not reached, Bosnian Serbs will by themselves decide what changes will be implemented in Republika Srpska. Stiglemayer said Ivanic's statements are not of help. Instead of threatening, it would be wiser now to concentrate on negotiations which are underway, she said. (hina) lml
