Finance Corporation (IFC) have shown great interest in investing in Croatia, members of a Croatian delegation visiting Washington said. Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac, who headed the delegation, said on Friday that the World Bank should help Croatia implement pension system reforms with more than US$30 million. The World Bank will grant the same amount to the Croatian Power Supply (HEP) for heating projects, invest US$20 million into the Croatian land registry system and finance two major projects on the Croatian coast, he said. In the next seven to eight years, the World Bank will invest US$100 in environmental protection projects in the coastal area, while US$150 million will be invested in the Rijeka port project. Crkvenac said that World Bank regional direct
