Speaking about bilateral relations, the Hungarian president
accentuated economic cooperation, particularly on
infrastructure.
Hungary's interests are road connections, including highways to
Ploce Harbour and Rijeka, so it could use the harbours. Hungary also
wants to construct new railroads and modernise existing ones, said
Madl.
He announced a cultural cooperation agreement with Croatia and
expressed satisfaction that Croatia accepted the Status Law,
Hungary's attempt to improve the status of the Hungarian minority
in neighbouring countries.
