ZAGREB, Feb 28 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday adopted a decree on the internal organisation of county state administration offices, which envisages the reduction of staff in those offices. Late last year, 5,424 state
employees and civil servants worked in county administration. The decree sets their number at 4,487. Part of those servants who will be made available will be transferred to units of local and regional self-government. Surplus labour will be provided with all rights from the collective agreement and adequate legislation. The costs of providing for redundant staff are estimated at around 49 million kuna (around EUR6.586).(hina) sb rml
