ZAGREB, Feb 28 (Hina) - The Commission for Ethics of the Croatian Radio Television (HRT) on Thursday rejected for formal reasons a complaint filed by Marija Nemcic against Denis Latin over Latin's talk-show "Latinica - Justice in

Nemcic's complaint was refused because the Commission believes, among else, that considering that Nemcic held the post of acting Croatian Television editor-in-chief at the time the contentious programme was broadcast, she had the right to prevent its broadcasting if she believed that it was unethical and unprofessional, or request that some parts be changed. ZAGREB, Feb 28 (Hina) - The Commission for Ethics of the Croatian
Radio Television (HRT) on Thursday rejected for formal reasons a
complaint filed by Marija Nemcic against Denis Latin over Latin's
talk-show "Latinica - Justice in Croatia", as well as Latin's
counter-complaint against Nemcic.
Nemcic's complaint was refused because the Commission believes,
among else, that considering that Nemcic held the post of acting
Croatian Television editor-in-chief at the time the contentious
programme was broadcast, she had the right to prevent its
broadcasting if she believed that it was unethical and
unprofessional, or request that some parts be changed.
Instead of this, Nemcic requested that the programme, which was
aired with her permission, be morally condemned, the Commission
said in a statement.
Latin's counter-complaint was rejected as unclear because Latin
failed to prove claims on the conflict of interests which he said
prompted Nemcic and the HRT management to report him to the
Commission.
