PM SAYS RULING COALITION LEADERS DIDN'T ADDRESS PERSONNEL ISSUES

ZAGREB, Feb 22 (Hina) - The presidents of the ruling coalition's five parties convened on Friday to discuss relations and the situation in the coalition and government-parliament relations, but not personnel issues, the president of the Social Democrats, Prime Minister Ivica Racan, said and the other four confirmed. Despite media allegations about an agreement between Racan and the Social Liberals' Drazen Budisa, personnel issues were not tackled, the PM said after a two-and-a-half hour meeting. In their brief statements to the media, the coalition leaders said they began a serious analysis of the performance of and relations within the coalition, and that the atmosphere at the meeting was good. We still have not reached a conclusion as to what we should amend and how, but will do so after thoroughly examining everything, said Racan.(hina) ha sb
