BELGRADE, Feb 26 (Hina) - Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic told the news agency Srna on Tuesday that at no time had he known or knew the whereabouts of Ratko Mladic, a general accused of war crimes in Bosnia by the UN tribunal at
The Hague. Commenting on a recent interview he granted the German weekly Der Spiegel, Djindjic said its message was that the Serbian government could not be competent for Mladic, and that the international community could not "gradually transform that as well into the chief competence and commitment of the Serbian government." "My information never amounted to more than hearsay, and all speculation about Mladic always refers to the past, as it is said he was seen 20 days or a month ago but never where exactly," Djindjic said.(hina) ha
