ZAGREB ZAGREB, Feb 25 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on Friday that early elections in Zagreb were imminent if relations and communication within the city's coalition Social Democratic Party-Croatian People's Party
(SDP-HNS) do not improve. Racan told Croatian Radio that the SDP was prepared to suggest a mayor, but the election of new Zagreb's mayor is not sufficient if problems could not be solved. Before it proposes a new mayor, the SDP insists on settling the issue of harsh attacks the SDP members are subjected to, in this case, by HNS's minister Radimir Cacic. The Premier believes that harsh words should have been avoided, and added that the SDP-HNS conflict in Zagreb was unnecessary and harmful, whereas relations in the coalition bad and not solid.(hina) lml sb
