GUESTS, PARTY REPRESENTATIVES ADDRESS SOCIAL LIBERALS' ASSEMBLY

ZAGREB, Feb 2 (Hina) - Guests of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) 10th electoral assembly, and presidents of the ruling coalition and opposition parties on Saturday wished the Social Liberals success in performances, stressing the party's stability was in the interest of the overall Croatian political scene. Croatian Premier and the Social Democratic Party (SDP) leader, Ivica Racan reminded on the establishment of the HSLS/SDP coalition and added reasons for the coalition still existed today. The Croatian Peasants' Party (HSS) president, Zlatko Tomcic, the Liberal Party (LS) president, Zlatko Kramaric, the Croatian People's Party (HNS) president, Vesna Pusic, addressed the HSLS. Advisor to the Croatian President Igor Dekanic said the HSLS went through a lot in the past ten years and it could only be proud of it as it gave a significant contribution to democracy. Representative of the strongest opposition party (the Croatian Democratic Union - HDZ) Jadranka Kosor, as well as representatives of the Democratic Centre (DC), the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP), the Social Democratic Action of Croatia (ASH), the Croatian Christian Democratic Union (HKDU), the Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS) and the Association for the Protection of Homeland War Values (HIP) also addressed the Social Liberals.
