THE HAGUE, Feb 20 (Hina) - The International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY) on Wednesday afternoon announced its decision to grant temporary release to Croatian general Rahim Ademi pending trial.

former Yugoslavia (ICTY) on Wednesday afternoon announced its
decision to grant temporary release to Croatian general Rahim Ademi

Under the decision, Ademi must not leave his place of residence in
Croatia and must hand over his passport to the Croatian Interior
Ministry and report his address to the Interior Ministry and the
Tribunal's secretariat.
He is obliged to report with the police once a week and receive
unannounced visits by the police to check that he is staying in his
place of residence.
Ademi must not contact the victims or potential witnesses or
influence the proceedings in any other way.
He is also advised not to discuss his case with anyone except with
his attorneys and to avoid contact with the media.
Ademi also must not contact any other indictee of the Hague
tribunal. He must not hold any official position in Croatia and must
report new employment and information about his employer within
three days.
