ZAGREB, Feb 20 (Hina) - The Croatian permanent mission at the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna on Tuesday sent a letter to the OSCE representative for the freedom of the media, Freimut Duve, stating
no charges would be filed against reported Denis Latin because of a contentious television show on the Croatian justice system, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement Wednesday. The Ministry said the letter was sent in response to Duve's letter to Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula dating February 5, in which he expressed concern for information that the state prosecutor intended to initiate proceedings against Latin. According to information from the State Prosecutor's Office relayed to Duve, there are no charges awaiting Denis Latin, nor was there any intention to do so, the statement said.(hina) lml
