OSIJEK, Feb 5 (Hina) - The head of the UNHCR Mission to Croatia, Robert Robinson, said in Osijek on Tuesday Croatia showed it is on the right path to pose itself as a partner to the international community. Robinson said many people
believed reconciliation was possible, namely that if war can be put behind, people can learn how to coexist. He added that the physical safety of the people became reality and the result of this is the withdrawal of the OSCE's mission of police observers. Robinson expressed concern with a high unemployment rate which in some war affected areas amounts to 70 percent. According to him, about 60,000 displaced persons and refugees have returned to the Croatian Danube River region.(hina) it
