ZAGREB, Feb 20 (Hina) - Croatian Justice Minister Ingrid Anticevic Marinovic said on Wednesday that the Belgrade court was competent to carry out investigative proceedings against Croatian Homeland War soldiers (in the Lora case),
under a law passed during the former (Croatian Democratic Union's) authority. During the former government in Croatia, a law was passed on legal assistance in criminal and legal matters, based on which this is happening, the minister said in reply to a question by MP Anto Kovacevic of the Croatian Christian Democratic Union, who wondered who had decided on the competence of the Belgrade court to investigate Croatian soldiers, and who would be responsible for this.
