BELGRADE MEDIA: SERBIAN PRESIDENT MIGHT BE EXTRADITED TO HAGUE BELGRADE, Jan 30 (Hina/Beta) - Serbian President Milan Milutinovic could be extradited to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague
within the next few weeks, Belgrade's daily Danas reports Wednesday citing sources close to Serbian Ministry of the Interior. Milutinovic was accused of war crimes committed in Kosovo in 1999. A reason for the Serbian government's discussing such a possibility is growing pressure by the international community because of poor cooperation with The Hague, and threats that financial assistance, planned for this year, will be discontinued, Danas reports.(hina) np sb
