ZAGREB, Jan 29 (Hina) - Croatian citizen Rade Vrga, 39, sought by the Croatian authorities under suspicion of having committed crimes against war prisoners in Glina in 1991 and 1992, was arrested Monday on the Hungarian-Yugoslav
border crossing Hrgos, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Tuesday. Hungarian police arrested Vrga on the basis on an international warrant issued by the Interpol's office in Zagreb last December, the ministry's spokeswoman, Zinka Bardic, told Hina, adding the ministry at this moment only had a verbal confirmation by the Hungarian police on Vrga's arrest. Croatian Serb Vrga was born in 1963 in Karlovac. Unofficial sources say he was arrested with a Croatian passport issued in Vukovar.(hina) np sb
