BELGRADE, Jan 28 (Hina/Beta) - An inter-state diplomatic commission, in charge of establishing the border and preparing an agreement on the state border between Yugoslavia and Croatia, held its first constituent session in Belgrade
Monday. The purpose of the meeting was to "start negotiations on issues related to the state border", reads a joint statement signed by the heads of the Yugoslav and Croatian delegations, Rajko Bogojevic and Olga Kresovic Rogulja. The two sides adopted a rule book on the commission's work and agreed on a protocol on principles. They exchanged ideas on the concept, methods and dynamics of the commission's work as well as on documents to be drawn up. The second meeting of the commission will be held in Zagreb. The border issue is one of the open questions in relations between Yugoslavia and Croatia. The two countries agreed to form a joint commission for the border at a meeting
