Cvjetkovic-Kurelec announced a Croatian government expert team
would visit Sarajevo on the 29th for talks aimed at finding the best
mechanism for the implementation of measures the government
recently passed as to the transit and export of oil from Croatia to
Bosnia.
Today's talks also tackled a bilateral agreement on the seaports of
Ploce and Neum. The two sides agreed about drawing up an annexe to
the document to regulate the effect of international factors on its
implementation. Bosnia continues to expect Croatia will ratify the
agreement in the meantime.
Discussing border issues, the two sides concluded the inter-state
border commission should resume its work in order to expedite the
ratification of a border deal. The signing of a local border
agreement and joint work on the prevention of illegal migration
will further bolster Croatian-Bosnian cooperation, they said.
The two Bosnian deputy foreign ministers were also received by
Croatia's chief of diplomacy Tonino Picula.
