ZUBAK'S PARTY STAYS IN BOSNIA'S RULING COALITION

SARAJEVO, Jan 14 (Hina) - The New Croat Initiative (NHI) will not leave Bosnia's ruling coalition but will give serious thought to which partners in the Alliance for Changes it cooperates with in the future, NHI president Kresimir Zubak said on Monday. Zubak maintains it has become obvious that some parties joined in undertaking democratic changes in Bosnia and Herzegovina only as a means of assuming influential positions. He mentioned the Liberal Party whose president Rasim Kadic he said had started attacking the NHI over the allegedly excessive personnel influence in the Croat-Muslim federation and the favouring of Croat interests. "Prominent NHI officials in bodies of authority, like the federal Finance and Defence Ministers Nikola Grabovac and Mijo Anic, or the head of the federal Pension Fund Bozo Misura, will resume reforms and take even more radical steps, regardless of all attacks," said Zubak. The NHI has not yet clashed with the leading partners in the Alliance for Changes, like the Social Democrats and the Party for BH, which would indicate the coalition will survive.
