Three objectives, to be stated in a joint declaration, will be adopted at the two-day conference, which gathered representatives of eight war veterans associations from South-East Europe. The objectives include the exchange of information on missing and imprisoned persons, mass grave sites and former concentration camps and mine fields, property repossession, the establishment of an international institution for post-traumatic stress disorder, and a proposal on the establishment of a committee on women in war conflicts in South-East Europe. Veterans' Minister Ivica Pancic said in Zagreb on Saturday, opening
the 2nd International South-East European conference on
cooperation based on humanitarian principles.
Three objectives, to be stated in a joint declaration, will be

Pancic stressed that all should work towards the establishment of
tolerance and understanding and the building of democratic
societies.
The conference is attended by representatives from Albania,
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia and
Yugoslavia.
