SARAJEVO, Dec 27 (Hina) - The district flight control in Zagreb is controlling the central stratum of air space above Bosnia-Herzegovina as of Thursday, after the Stability Forces (SFOR) in Bosnia decided this job should be performed
by civil authorities, SFOR spokesman, Daryl Morrell, told journalists in Sarajevo. Civil authorities are now responsible for controlling flights in the air space above 3,000 metres. In Bosnia, a state civil aviation board should be performing this duty, but, since it is not capable for the task, the Zagreb district flight control took on the responsibility. Bosnia's Council of Ministers made the decision. The SFOR is controlling the air-space below 3,000 metres, while the so-called upper-sky above Bosnia has been from earlier controlled by Eurocontrol.(hina) np sb
