ZAGREB, Jan 12 (Hina) - Cedo Prodanovic, defence attorney for Rahim Ademi, is satisfied that Goran Granic will provide the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague with additional guarantees and believes they will improve Ademi's chances of being released temporarily. Prodanovic bases his optimism about the tribunal granting the request for Ademi's release on the fact that the ICTY recently temporarily released three Bosniaks indicted for war crimes. Generals Enver Hadzihasanovic and Mehmed Alagic and Colonel Amir Kubura were released after a similar process, before being questioned by the ICTY Prosecutor. The ministers of the interior and justice of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the country's Croat-Muslim entity, appeared before the tribunal in person to provide additional guarantees. Additional guarantees are necessary because the guarantees in principle the government provided were not sufficient, Prodanovic said. Additional guarantees refer to technical questions, such as Ademi's reception at the airport and his safety during his temporary stay in Croatia, he said. (hina) sb rml
