ZAGREB, Dec 16 (Hina) - The Croatian Railways company (HZ) has been admitted to the Community of European Railways (CER), which gathers 34 rail companies from European Union members and candidates.

admitted to the Community of European Railways (CER), which gathers
34 rail companies from European Union members and candidates. #L#
Although Croatia is not yet an EU member or candidate, the HZ's
entry into the CER makes it possible for Zagreb to take part in EU
policies and programmes pertaining to the railway traffic.
This was said by the CER executive director, Johannes Ludewig, on
the occasion of signing the declaration on the HZ's membership in
the CER, in Zagreb on Tuesday.
