on the rise, participants in a meeting on the strategy of prevention
of people trafficking in South-East Europe said at a news
conference at the end of the meeting in Vienna's United Nations

South-East European countries attending the event decided to take
joint action to effectively prevent trafficking in humans. A new
training program for the prevention of people trafficking also
includes a handbook on the regional norm for training police forces
to prevent people trafficking. This regional program includes 12
countries of South-East Europe: Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, Hungary, Moldavia,
Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine and Croatia, as well as a
delegation from Kosovo.
