THE HAGUE/ZAGREB, Dec 3 (Hina) - Testifying at the trial of former

and the Manjaca concentration camp near Banja Luka. #L#
The witness spoke about how he and other camp inmates had been
abused, beaten and forced to dig graves.
He described an incident when he and some 30 other prisoners had
been sent to dig graves, after which all but he and two others had
been shot dead.
The prosecution introduced as evidence a written statement the
witness had given to tribunal investigators, two statements to the
Bosnian Interior Ministry, and his diary.
Cross-examining the witness, Milosevic challenged the credibility
of his testimony, pointing to factual discrepancies in his
statements and his diary. The witness said he would explain the
discrepancies in a closed session.
In continuation of today's hearing, the prosecution called witness
B-1021, who gave testimony in a closed session.
The trial of Milosevic, who is charged with genocide in Bosnia-
Herzegovina and crimes against humanity in Croatia and Kosovo,
resumes on Thursday.
