They talked about the successful presence of Microsoft in Croatia
and possibilities of further cooperation between the company on the
one side and state administration bodies and institutions of
education and science on the other, the president's office said in a
statement.
The delegation stressed that Microsoft was interested in further
computerisation of the judiciary and land registries in Croatia.
Also discussed was an already prepared project for the
computerisation of the Croatian parliament and a project of the
Mediterranean Institute for Life Studies in Split, led by Miroslav
Radman.
Mesic presented Courtois with a personal letter for Bill Gates in
which he familiarised the Microsoft chairman with the project of
the Split institute and expressed hope that he would support the
project, the statement said.
