eastern Croatian town of Vukovar in 1991 and forwarded the case to a special war crimes prosecutor, investigating judge Miroslav Alimpic said in a statement on Tuesday.
BELGRADE, Dec 2 (Hina) - The District Court in Novi Sad has
completed an investigation against nine persons suspected of
committing war crimes at Ovcara outside the eastern Croatian town
of Vukovar in 1991 and forwarded the case to a special war crimes
prosecutor, investigating judge Miroslav Alimpic said in a
statement on Tuesday. #L#
The statement said that a comprehensive file on the Ovcara case was
delivered today to the war crimes prosecutor and that all persons
under investigation were in detention.
"Detention for the suspects expires on December 6, which is the
deadline for issuing an indictment in this case," Alimpic said.
