ZAGREB, Dec 2 (Hina) - A group of Chinese tourists who went missing from Zagreb's Golden Tulip hotel on Monday have still not been found despite intensive tracing, Zagreb police said on Tuesday.

Spokeswoman Gordana Vulama declined to speculate on what could have
happened to the 34 tourists who were found to have disappeared
around noon yesterday. She refused to comment on the possibility
that they went missing to avoid returning to China.
The search for the missing tourists was launched after they failed
to show up outside the hotel to board a bus that was to take them to
Zagreb's airport.
During their stay in Croatia, the Chinese tourists visited Plitvice
Lakes, Split, and Dubrovnik, returning to Zagreb on Nov. 29. Their
visas expired on Dec. 1.
