ZAGREB, Nov 28 (Hina) - Shortly after 1100 hours on Friday, economic experts from the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) began talks on an economic programme as a precondition for further political
negotiations on forming a new coalition government. The leaders of the HDZ and the HSS, Ivo Sanader and Zlatko Tomcic, said at a meeting on Thursday they expected the talks to be completed by the end of this week. The HSS delegation includes the party's chief economist, Branimir Lokin, the leader of the Zagreb branch, Damir Novotny, and party presidency member Zeljko Pecek. The HDZ delegation includes vice-president Ivan Suker and the authors of the party's economic programme, Ante Babic and Gordan Jandrokovic.(hina) vm
