ZAGREB, Nov 21 (Hina) - The number of passengers transported by air in Croatia in the first nine months this year rose by 16.5 percent to over 1.2 million as against the January-September period 2002, according to the Central Bureau
of Statistics.

The number of passengers on international flights increased by
14.5% to 892,000, while the number of passengers on domestic
flights climbed by 21.8% to 363,000.
