BELGRADE, Nov 13 (Hina) - A moratorium on electioneering ahead of presidential elections in Serbia goes into force at midnight on Thursday. The media blackout will last until the closing of polling stations at 8 pm on Sunday.

presidential elections in Serbia goes into force at midnight on

Running in Sunday's presidential elections are a member of the
ruling Serbian coalition DOS, Dragoljub Micunovic, a vice-
president of the Serbian Radical Party, Tomislav Nikolic, the
president of the New Serbia party, Velimir Ilic, the leader of the
People's Peasant Party, Marijan Risticevic, Dragan S. Tomic of the
Socialist Party of Serbia, and Radoslav Avlijas of the Homeland
People's Party.
For the elections to be successful, more than a half of all
registered voters must go to the polls in the first round.
