SISAK: HSS HOLDS CENTRAL ELECTION RALLY IN CONSTITUENCY NO. 6

SISAK, Nov 12 (Hina) - The leader of the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS), Zlatko Tomcic, spoke about possible coalition partners at the central election rally in constituency no. 6 in Sisak on Wednesday. #L# "Those who do not accept the policy of an integral national economy, the need for Croatia to have a predominantly expert and not a political government, or those who disregard the fact that the Constitution defines our political system as a parliamentary democracy will not be able to be the HSS' partners after the elections". "We will not give up on these requirements," Tomcic told more than 2,000 citizens from all parts of the constituency, who gathered at the rally. "If it does not find partners who meet those conditions, the HSS is willing to become a constructive opposition." The party is ready to talk about post-election coalitions with all parties, except the far left and the far right, Tomcic said. "Croatia cannot remain isolated from Europe or the region, which is why our positions on integration processes must be harmonised," the HSS leader said. (hina) rml sb
