ZAGREB, Nov 10 (Hina) - The non-party association for parliamentary elections "Choice 2003", which gathers some 15 non-government associations, on Monday issued a statement calling on all participants in the election campaign to
refrain from undemocratic actions.

The association called on relevant institutions, the Ethics
Commission and the State Electoral Commission, to take measures
which are within their jurisdiction and punish perpetrators.
"The messages that we send out to Europe, like the incident in
Imotski, are very worrying with regard to the development of
democracy, pluralism and civil society," reads the statement.
