ZAGREB, Nov 9 (Hina) - The southern Adriatic resort of Dubrovnik is becoming increasingly popular among foreign-flag cruise ships. In this year's first nine months Croatia logged 446 such cruises, up 45.3 percent from the same time last year, of which 439 stopped in southernmost Croatia's Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
ZAGREB, Nov 9 (Hina) - The southern Adriatic resort of Dubrovnik is becoming increasingly popular among foreign-flag cruise ships. In this year's first nine months Croatia logged 446 such cruises, up 45.3 percent from the same time last year, of which 439 stopped in southernmost Croatia's Dubrovnik-Neretva County. #L# A total of 322,000 passengers came on the foreign-flag cruise ships, an increase of 42.4 percent from the first nine months of 2002, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics. Said ships spent a total of 866 days in Croatia, an increase of 38.8 percent. The average stay was two days.
