CAVTAT, Oct 27 (Hina) - Croatia's tourist season this year was successful and a planned five percent increase in the number of tourists was realised. As a result, Croatia can expect another three percent increase in the number of
tourists and a seven percent increase in income from tourism next year. This was said on Monday at a session of the National Tourist Board's (HTZ) Council, held as part of Days of Croatia's Tourism in Cavtat, which will end on October 28.

tourists was realised. As a result, Croatia can expect another

At the session, Niko Bulic was re-elected director of the HTZ Main
Office to a period of four years.
Tourism Minister Pave Zupan Ruskovic particularly commented on the
general assembly of the World Tourism Organisation held in Beijing
last week. At the session Croatia was appointed to the Executive
Committee of that world organisation which, according to minister
Zupan Ruskovic, will help place Croatia among world's tourist
destinations.
