Presenting the achievements of his ministry at a news conference,
Vujic singled out those in publishing and the opening of 30 new and
renovation of dozens of old libraries.
The minister said that 150 new organisations had been established,
including in theatre, visual arts, and design.
Vujic highlighted new permanent museum exhibits and museum
adaptations, for example the Mestrovic Pavilion and the Modern
Gallery in Zagreb as well as the Works of Art Gallery in Split.
He announced the opening of the renovated city library in Sibenik,
and the start of works at the Contemporary Art Museum in Zagreb.
Vujic said international cultural cooperation was very good,
adding that several international conferences had been held, and 23
bilateral agreements, protocols, and programmes been signed.
The minister also mentioned the restitution of works of art from
Serbia-Montenegro and archives from the Jasenovac WWII
concentration camp.
