Daci said after the talks on Monday that the meeting with Holkeri
was successful and that he had the administrator's support for the
continuation of the process in the Kosovo assembly to amend the
constitutional framework.
Daci said that the processes of amending the constitutional
framework and privatisation would be conducted in cooperation
between local and international institutions in Kosovo.
Holkeri did not give any approval for the constitutional framework
of Kosovo to be amended, as was later stated by parliament speaker
Nexhat Daci, the spokesman said.
Singh also denied a statement that UNMIK had received a letter from
Kosovo institutions in which they demanded that the constitutional
framework be amended.
