Addressing a session of the association's Osijek County branch, ZPH
leader Josip Kompanovic said he was approached by an increasing
number of displaced persons who had been ordered by courts to pay
rent, or who were being expelled from their present acommodation
despite the fact that the reconstruction of their homes had not
started yet.
Kompanovic said that "not everyone will stand the property being
confiscated," expressing fears that continued property seizures
might end "tragically".
Kompanovic recommended writing a letter to Justice Minister Ingrid
Anticevic-Marinovic to draw her attention to the problem.
