ZAGREB, Nov 3 (Hina) - The chairman of the Zagrebacka Banka (ZABA) management board, Franjo Lukovic, and the head of the Zagreb office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Andrew Krapotkin, on Monday signed
a EUR20 million long-term loan agreement for infrastructure projects in local government and self-government units and for public companies owned by those units.
ZAGREB, Nov 3 (Hina) - The chairman of the Zagrebacka Banka (ZABA)
management board, Franjo Lukovic, and the head of the Zagreb office
of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD),
Andrew Krapotkin, on Monday signed a EUR20 million long-term loan
agreement for infrastructure projects in local government and
self-government units and for public companies owned by those
units. #L#
The two sides also signed an agreement under which the Dutch
government will support the programme with 2.5 million euros, plus
another million to be donated by the European Union from the CARDS
programme.
Dutch Ambassador Lionel Veer said the 3.5 million euros in
technical assistance was intended primarily for local government
and self-government units to prepare project documentation, as
well as for banks to improve the process of loan-granting.
