THE HAGUE/ZAGREB, Oct 28 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb Milan Simic, whom the UN war crimes tribunal at The Hague sentenced to five years in prison for crimes against humanity, will be released early in line with the decision by tribunal's
president Theodor Meron, the ICTY reported on Tuesday.
THE HAGUE/ZAGREB, Oct 28 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb Milan Simic, whom the
UN war crimes tribunal at The Hague sentenced to five years in
prison for crimes against humanity, will be released early in line
with the decision by tribunal's president Theodor Meron, the ICTY
reported on Tuesday. #L#
The decision on Simic's early release will become effective on
Monday, November 3, the tribunal said. Simic served two thirds of
his time.
Another 14 ICTY convicts are currently serving time.
