terminal on the Kukuljanovo industrial estate outside the northern
Adriatic port of Rijeka on Wednesday. #L#
The 35,000-square-metre terminal, worth 3.5 million euros, is the
most modern terminal of its kind in the country. Located in the
vicinity of main roads leading to the port of Rijeka and Slovenia,
it includes customs warehouses covering 2,500 square metres in
area. The terminal is intended for customs control and goods
storage.
Agregat company officials said that until mid-2004 the terminal
should be extended to include a railway terminal and a public
warehouse.
The terminal was opened by Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac.
