Talking to reporters in Osijek after presenting his Croatian
Peasant Party's (HSS) platform "I Love My Country", Tomcic said he
no longer wished to be president of parliament. He added he would
reveal his intentions after the elections.
He said the HSS would be a revelation at the ballot and play a
decisive role in the formation of the next government.
According to Tomcic, constituents have realised that coalitions as
the current five-party one are not viable because they are
inefficient. Simpler solutions are called for, he said.
