SARAJEVO, Oct 2 (Hina) - U.S. General Virgil Packett on Thursday took over the command over the NATO-led Stabilisation force (SFOR) in Bosnia-Herzegovina, which is comprised of more than 12,000 soldiers from 43 countries.

Major General Packett will hold this position for a year. He
replaced Lt. General William Ward who is appointed deputy commander
of the U.S. Army in Europe.
Packett said SFOR would continue to search for war crimes suspects.
They can run, but they cannot hid forever, the U.S. general said.
